Cochin Waves is a dynamic Service Institution with multidimensional activities. Cochin Waves, established in the year 1991, is an organization managed by a team of professionals, capable of fostering the peoples interested in music and other art forms.
With over a decade of expertise in serving its students, Cochin Waves have set its own standard with a comprehensive range of services. Primarily, the concept was evolved in the background of cultural heritage, which now continues to flourish through the enthusiastic efforts of its founder Mr. K.S. Mammootty (Mohammed Kunju).
The institution is committed to provide friendly, fast, and fun training always giving its students the top priority.
Mr. Mammootty, who was a gifted artist of Kalabhavan is also a multitalented instrumentalist. He has developed a whole team of qualified teachers including himself to effectively accomplish its training programs.
The objectives of Cochin Waves are many. Primarily, to give a new lease of life to the traditional and innovative musical, dance and other art forms, and encourage the local artists. Secondly, to give the local population an exposure to many art forms (music and dance) of India and other countries, both classical, western and folk, and appreciate the rich cultural heritage that the country is proud of.
Performing Variety Entertainment is one of the primary interests of Cochin Waves. It consists of a 'Ganamela' (Live Musical Concert) troupe with extremely talented artists who always come up with novel tunes in the music industry. We provide with, songs in different languages, which include : Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, English, Arabic & Mappila Songs. Violin solo fusion, Mega Shows & Magic performance, is another attraction, from our troupe. With a group of leading instrumentalists and singers, Cochin Waves always give the best of talent to the public.
One of the unique offers from Cochin Waves is the 'Mini-Ganamela' which can be arranged at a lower cost, as per the request of the Client. This can spice up functions like, Birthdays, Weddings, and small parties.
The Ganamela, Mimicry, Cinematic & classical dance programs are performed, within the country and abroad.
A new venture by our music experts. This facility provides a chance for people to sing and record their voice to make their own music CD's and cassettes. This digital recording studio has a large collection of karaoke CDs of latest and old hit songs in Hindi, English, Malayalam and Tamil. By availing this facility, people can send their voice for audition to participate in various competitions, as well as to apply for job in radio and TV channels.
Cochin Wave has published different volumes of books containing western notes of hit songs in Hindi, English, Malayalam and Tamil. These books are easy to follow and can be used by Violin and Guitar artists as a reference. This books also helps students to learn fast and gain appreciation from music lovers.
